About the author and illustrator
Robin Bower is an Australian author. She reported on the international diamond and jewellery industry for a trade magazine while living in Hong Kong, and taught the Writing, Editing and Publishing unit at Curtin University.
She has had almost 50 articles published in publications based in Hong Kong, Perth and Melbourne and holds a Master of Creative Writing from the University of Canberra.
Senses of Paris is her second book. Her first novel, Beyond Home, was published in 2014 and her next novel, My River Sanctuary, is due for publication in February 2017.
Christine Vandenbergh is an Australian artist. She holds a Fine Art Certificate from Wollongong Technical College and a Diploma of Fine Arts from Sydney Technical College. She taught Fine Art at WEA Wollongong New South Wales, and was Partner/Owner of About Art for several years.
Christine has been awarded for her work in art competitions in Western Australia. She was commissioned to do the drawings for the stained glass windows in the Catholic Church in Yangebup, and has undertaken many private commissions.
She teaches art using oils, acrylics, pastels, and techniques in drawing and portraiture.
